Our Mission:The mission of the Boy Scouts of America , incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Additionally, Troop 505 Lubbock strives to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
