The company we use for hosting our website will be changing the location of the sites they host to different servers July 27-29. They inform us that any changes made to our sites during that time could be lost.

Great meeting Monday, well organized and covered all the bases. Skills focused on water safety skills as we prepare for our August campout at Green Belt Reservoir; patrols then split into Patrol Corners to discuss ideas for next year's outdoor program; followed by a game of Mafia for Interpatrol. Nice job guys.

Monday's meeting went to the dogs! Literally. And to one kitten as well. Many boys brought a pet for what is becoming our annual summer pet show.

Summer camp went well, 60 merit badges earned or almost completed. Food wasn't great and organization of the camp was iffy, but still a good week. Congratulations to Chris Messenger and James Golden on being tapped out for Order of the Arrow. Sweathog (Ordeal) is the weekend of Aug. 13 - 15 at Post. Those wanting to try for Brotherhood can attend as well. Congratulations as well to Riley Golden for earning Star rank.

Shake down, for at least some of the summer campers, was Monday night. If you did not bring your gear, please check the equipment list on last week's update. After skills, Patrols began talking about plans for next year, followed by games of wall ball and basketfootball (basketball played with a football). At least one of the Eagles also worked on his physical requirements for Tenderfoot.
